Evoltion of dogs

Dogs evolved from a wolf-like species that finished by evolving into modern dogs. Scientists say that dogs started evolving around 14,000 years ago, though they are not sure why. Theory is that humans started domesticating dogs which made them less savage and that the trait was passed down through other generations. Another theory is that natural selection favoured the less agressive and the ones begging and scavenging for food. Another theory is that scavenging canids that ate through our garbage became used to the human presence and became tame. Dogs and wolfs DNA makeup is almost identical. Dogs cannot live without humans, even without the help of humans they scavenge live of food that they scavenged from us, dogs have evolved to become dependent on the human race.
