Fundamental Forces
The fundamental forces are the fundamental forces of our world, they are all non-contact forces that constantly change everything around us. The known fundamental forces are: gravitation, electromagnetism, strong nuclear and weak nuclear.
What is gravitation?
Gravitation is the natural phenomenon by which physical bodies attract each other with a force proportional to their masses. Gravitation is what causes objects to have weight and fall to the ground.
What is electromagnetism?
Electromagnetism (electricity & magnetism) appears as both electric fields and magnetic fields. Both are only different aspects of electromagnetism, and are therefor related. A shifting electric field creates a magnetic field; conversly to a changing magnetic field creates an electric field.
What are electric fields? Electric fields are the cause of electric potential (such as the voltage of a battery) and electric current. Electric current is a flow of electric charge through an electrical conductor. | What are magnetic fields? The magnetic fields is a mathematical description of the magnetic influence of electric currents and magnetic materials. |
What is the strong nuclear?
The strong nuclear, also known as color force, strong force or strong interaction is the force that puts and keeps quarks together.
